The latest installment of the reissue project of Jimi Hendrix's works, which started with a partnership between Sony Music Entertainment (US) and Experience Hendrix LLC in 2010, and an exclusive contract regarding the licensing rights to the Jimi Hendrix catalog, features a live recording that has already been discontinued and is being traded at high prices among fans!
This work, "Winterland," contains live recordings from the three days of October 10th to 12th, 1968, at Winterland in San Francisco. As with previous releases, Eddie Kramer, who has been Jimi Hendrix's engineer since "Are You Experienced" in 1967, and who is also involved in this reissue project, is in charge of the latest remastering using the original sound sources.
*This is a limited edition 4CD import digibook (36P).
