Micromold's FLUOR-O-FLO PTFE and PVDF bulkhead fittings facilitate swift, simple connection of Micromold's PTFE or other piping systems to any tank type: plastic, metal, or lined. They can be installed without adapters in flat wall or most cylindrical tanks. Standard fittings come with special FEP-encapsulated o-rings for optimal sealing to the tank's interior wall. A unique silicone hollow-core o-ring offers sealing flexibility and compensates for any fitting body creep relaxation. The FEP encapsulation preserves the fitting's superior corrosion resistance. For high-temperature service, FEP or PFA-encapsulated Viton or solid PTFE o-rings can be substituted. Buttress form threads on the lock-nut enable the compressive forces needed for a proper o-ring seal against various interior tank surfaces. Available in pipe sizes from 1/8" to 4".
