Junya Watanabe knit vest with patchwork details from Fall/Winter 2003. Boiled wools were left unfinished, like the treatment of this vest. Purchased years ago in Paris from a collector, this piece was missing labels and tags but attributed to a sample produced during this collection. The vest features draped panels at front that fold over themselves back into the seam, and a shaped flared back. 3 penny buttons at the front, which have tarnished from age. Various embellished patchwork details throughout. No size label but would suit a UK10 or larger well. Shoulder measures 16.5“, pit to pit 19“, body length 27“.
