Details: 3.5” x 4” x 3/4” quad key shaft Rubber Expanding Drums by Black Hawk Abrasives are designed to be used with BHA sanding bands. These 3.5 inch drums easily allow you to switch to a variety of grits and materials as the needs of a job change. The 3-1/2 inch diameter bladder wheel is manufactured with premium, flexible rubber and angled slits. This design allows the drum to expand and hold the belt tight while in use but, when stopped the sanding band can be slipped off and replaced with another. The expanding drums offer quick change versatility, easy portability, and a 4 inch wide sanding area which provides a great sanding surface area (when used in conjunction with sanding belt). With it’s easy slip-on, slip-off usability and BHA’s wide range of compatible sanding bands, the rubber expanding drum combined with the sanding belts are perfect for a wide array of applications, including but, not limited to: paint and rust removal, wood sanding (including tables, decks, cabinetry ect.), metal preparation prior to buffing. These expanding drums are affixed with a hub that fits 3/4 inch keyed shaft and made to be used on surface finishing machines and linear grinding machines (A.K.A. Burnishers, burnishing machines, contouring grinders, etc.)
