This is a deadstock GAP 1969 premium Western jacket (denim jacket) that I purchased at the GAP store under the Sukiyabashi Hankyu in February 2000. It has been kept unused in my closet since then.
This jacket is part of a special denim series released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of GAP, using high-quality premium 1969 selvedge denim woven at a low speed on power looms by Kaihara, Japan's top denim manufacturer.
As you know, GAP is an American brand, but this special project was made in Italy.
This is a special denim jacket with a special project of American brand x Japanese material x Italian production.
It follows the basic design of a denim jacket, with long sleeves, buttoned cuffs, a spread collar, front button closure, two buttoned chest pockets, and side adjuster buttons.

As you can see in the pictures, there are strong wrinkles, but this is because the product was one-washed at the factory and I did not wash it. This is the original processing.
