The follow up to 2002's Brit and Grammy Award winning A Rush Of Blood To The Head, X&Y was recorded over the past year at studios in the UK and has been produced by Danton Supple (Morrissey, Elbow), Ken Nelson (Badly Drawn Boy, Kings of Convenience) and the band. It's confident, bold, ambitious, packed with singles and impossible to contain.
There's nods to Kraftwerk on "Talk", Prince on "White Shadows", some Lennon-driven Beatles rocking on "A Message" and a secret track which was written for Johnny Cash. It's an album that takes repeated listens but once you get it, it makes perfect sense.
