The CTI 2589-B is an 8/16/32-Point Universal Discrete Input Module designed to accept both AC and DC voltage inputs. It is compatible with CTI 2500 Series® and Simatic® 505 I/O bases. This module can be configured to log in as 8, 16, or 32 points, allowing operation of all 32 points at 240VAC, an improvement over its predecessor, the 2589-A, which supported only up to 16 points at that voltage.
