Oval Head / Relieved Small Cutters - Designed from the ground up for work in small spaces, our "30 Series" Laser Line® small cutters use ESD-safe, low-profile molded grips and relieved blades to make extremely precise cuts where other tools can't fit.
Made of AISI 52/100 carbon tool steel, the cutting blades are induction hardened to RHC 63-65. Close-tolerance CNC machining ensures that the Lazerlok™ joint surfaces pivot smoothly, allowing for long life. The dual leaf springs provide smooth action. The 9238E is tapered relieved for better accessibility.
Type of Cut: Optimum Flush 0.005 Bevel cutters have a cutting edge with a 0.005" bevel, which produces a smaller "pinch" on the lead/wire then a semi flush cutter. The smaller bevel means slightly fewer cuts then a semi flush cutter.
