Plot Summary

Aly and Adam Bloomington are fraternal twins who have been inseparable since birth. When Adam travels to California for work and to visit an old friend, he leaves his beloved—and mischievous—dachshund, Pretzel, in Aly’s care. During a FaceTime call, Aly is surprised to see Levi, Adam’s childhood best friend, who has transformed from the scrawny boy she remembers into a chiseled man. This rekindles old feelings Aly had for Levi.  

Tragedy strikes when Adam is involved in a severe car accident, leaving him in a coma. To cope with the situation and feel connected to her brother, Aly begins texting him updates about her life, including her growing relationship with Levi. However, there’s a twist: Adam’s phone isn’t where it’s supposed to be, leading to unforeseen complications.
