beautiful real Fur coat, I think it could be fox fur, it's a longer fur with a coarse texture, not as soft as rabbit or mink.
the coat only has one hook closure at the chest and has sleeves but a cape like feel.
one of the sleeves hems has fallen down and needs to be sewn back up, but it's the perfect chance to have the sleeves fitted for your arms.
the coat is lined in a lovely gray green satin with a light floral embroidery.
since the sleeve lining is exposed you can see that this coat is made from the actual leather and fur from the animal (fox probably)
my research dates this piece to the 1950s
there is no shedding of the fur. there is a slight musty smell as it has been in a closet for a long time.
