Osmanthus is one of the most evocative scents in the world - much more than the sum of its parts. This heady fragrance calls to mind the sweet, animalic note of apricots, the syrupy freshness of peach, a delicate hint of tea - opening up into the smooth creamy comfort of milk, with even a dash of violet. But osmanthus also summons memories of a time of year, its stories and gatherings. Its tea-like scent is evocative of late
summer in Europe. For Summer 23 we wanted to celebrate its full-bodied beauty, that slightly musky scent that comes with the early harvest.
“Most natural citrus scent l've probably ever smelled. Opens smooth yet zesty like the peel of the fruit with an underbite of green osmanthus. Then as it dries, it keeps this citrus backbone as it becomes more aromatic and slightly creamy woods. The aromaticness mostly coming from the basil, neroli, and geranium; very tart yet refreshing! Then, as it dries down it gets earthy and smooth as it sinks really deep into my skin.”
