Gloria Vanderbilt Doll Gloria at age 2

This doll is a wax over porcelain recreation of Gloria Vanderbilt when she was 2 years old. The doll is in lovely condition. Only 600 were made. She comes dressed in a mauve pink satin dress with a color matched satin lined brocade coat trimmed in fringe, a satin bonnet trimmed in feathers, leatherette button ruffled bottom leg spats, leather shoes, Just beautiful!

Gloria has rooted strawberry blonde rooted hair. Her face is beautifully hand painted. Her arms and knees are also highlighted at the joints and her hands and feet have realistic looking nail beds. These realistic features are due to the very expensive wax over porcelain production method. She has a porcelain mantle with a weighted torso. Her limbs and head are movable. This doll is truly a masterpiece. She comes with her COA and pictures! She is from a collectors home and has always been protected with a clear cover!
This doll out of all the Gloria dolls is probably the most expensive ranging between $400 & $1000 on eBay!
