The GeoVision GV-IP Decoder Box Optimal is a digital video recorder with advanced connectivity technology, compatible with various devices including cameras, desktops, laptops, and televisions. It boasts a model number GV-IP Decoder Box Optimal and supports 64 channels with a total of 1 USB port. This device features IP Input video input and supports up to 8 megapixel IP cameras, decoding video streams in H.264 / H.265 codec up to 60 fps (1-ch max.). The GV-IP Decoder Box Optimal comes with a 12V DC / PoE (IEEE 802.3af) Power Supply and supports 10/100 Ethernet over LAN. It has HDMI / VGA output ports for dual monitor display, and supports 10 languages. The device also offers features like remote firmware upgrade, IP address configuration, and addition of new channel. The GV-Joystick V2 can be installed to control any PTZ / Speed Dome cameras connected onto the GV-IP Decoder Box Optimal. This decoder supports third-party IP cameras that adhere to RTSP or ONVIF, and can automatically search for any ONVIF-compliant devices on the same LAN. The micro SD card and USB drive can be used for snapshot storage and firmware upgrade. The device also supports camera and layout assignment remotely from GV-VMS, GV-Control Center, or GV-Edge Recording Manager.
