I gave up on trying to make this work again and no patience/time to go to Apple store for that.
It was used by a teen very careful but forgetful girl.
Google says: you would need another apple computer/laptop to the reset through iTunes or Finder (search solution found), I am not high tech enough for that.
Selling as it is, if you want to fix and use or use for parts, up to you. Hard case included.
