APPLICATION: 71 Fibered Asphalt Roof Coating may be applied by brush or heavy duty spray equipment. Apply at the rate of 4 gallons per 100 sq. ft. For applications by brush, 71 Fibered Asphalt Roof Coating is easily applied by pouring directly from the container and spreading with a wide fiber roof brush. Able to be coated over with solvent and acrylic based coatings 5. VOC Free SURFACE PREPARATIONS: All roof surfaces should be swept clean of all dust and dirt. All blisters and breaks should be repaired with 19 Ultra Rubberized Flashing Cement or 19 Flashing Cement in a three-course application utilizing 34 Asphalt Cotton Membrane, 31 Fiberglass Membrane or 5540 Resat-Mat fabric reinforcement. Recommended application temperature is 40°F to 120°F. If applying at temperatures lower than 40°F, the substrate must be free of moisture and/or ice crystals. CAUTION: Do not use near open flame. Avoid breathing solvent fumes and prolonged contact with skin. Do not take internally. If swallowed, do not induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a heated room and keep container covered when not in use. Do not thin. Dispose of in an environmentally safe manner. Cover air intakes during application and while drying. Exterior use only. Cold-process systems and coatings, either emulsion or solvent-based, should only be installed on decks with positive drainage.

• USES: 71 can be applied to smooth surface BUR, SBS modified bitumen membranes, metal roof surfaces and roll roofing as a protective coating. The coating forms a tough, elastic film to help protect the underlying roof system
• APPLICATION: 71 Fibered Asphalt Roof Coating is easily applied by pouring directly from the container and spreading with a wide fiber roof brush. Spray applications are easily and efficiently applied on large areas with either a standard type mastic pump or using airless spray equipment.
• SURFACE PREPERATION: The surface should be swept clean of all dust and dirt. All blisters and breaks should be repaired before spreading. Recommended application temperature is 40°F to 120°F. If applying at temperatures lower than 40°F, the substrate must be free of moisture and/or ice crystals.
