Kähler HAK, Double Glazed Stoneware Vase Designed by Nils Kähler Denmark 1960’sThis vintage Scandinavian Modern rectangular stoneware vase is stamped all over with a low relief in a curvilinear pattern. It’s glazed in a classic semi matte double glaze in black and white.Kähler was a family run studio pottery founded in 1839 and is one of the most famous potteries in Denmark. Their pottery is signed with “HAK” after the son of the founder, Herman August Kähler. Today a new company produces pottery with the Kähler label, but it´s no longer handmade in Denmark. Please note the small area where the glaze has chipped on the top of the vase, as photographed.Marked by hand on the bottom with ‘HAK Nils’ and stamped Denmark.Dimensions: Height: 6.25”Width: 2.75”Depth: 1.75”
