Reactor Records is pleased to present the long-awaited reissue of Loops sophomore full-length Fade Out, first released on the Chapter 22 label in late 1988. Now re-cut from the 2008 remasters by Kevin Metcalf.
The album features a hypnotic and dense sonic landscape, characterized by repetitive guitar riffs, swirling effects, and droning vocals. Tracks like Black Sun and Head On showcase the bands ability to create expansive, atmospheric soundscapes that envelop the listener.
Loops music often drew comparisons to other experimental rock acts of the time, such as Spacemen 3 and My Bloody Valentine. However, they maintained a distinct sound and identity throughout their career.
