This MacBook Pro 15 inch 2009 model is in great condition for how old it is. This was given to me a week ago along with a bunch of other things from someones’ family member passing.
I am not very tech savvy and wiped the computer of the last user and thought it would be easy just to install the OS back on but when I went to reinstall it I get a 403 forbidden code with my Apple ID. I called Apple and they told me I need another Mac and a hard drive to install the OS back on and I don’t own another Mac so I’m at a loss.
She’s got just a few scratches on the bottom and a few nicks (pictured) where you open the computer. Everything including charging, speakers, buttons and mousepad work excellent with no issues. I have never owned a Mac prior to this so I don’t know if it’s normal but she makes light tick sounds every so often when it is running. Power supply is included.
