This item was stored in my grandfather's warehouse. As I am an amateur, I didn't even know where the shutter was at first. After researching, I found out that:

The 35mm lens shutter still camera, , released in March 1958 by the then 《Mamiya Optical Co., Ltd.》, was launched with the catchphrase "The world's first three-way coupled camera".
is recorded as one of the first cameras to achieve "full coupling" between the built-in exposure meter and the shutter.

It announced the world's first rangefinder and exposure meter double coupling mechanism in 1958. According to materials and magazines, the advertising at the time was... "The world's first revolutionary three-way coupled camera" with "electric exposure meter full coupling" and "rangefinder coupling", and "shutter, set, and film winding coupling". You can almost see the proud faces of the developers.
The name Elca is not a rip-off of Leica, but comes from "Electric Camera".
It is considered a rare machine, and it uses a custom-made Copal Special shutter with a film sensitivity setting function. It seems that an exposure meter booster was also available, which could be attached to the socket on the top of the camera for use in low-light conditions.

That's what I found out. I have included many photos to help you judge the condition, and there is also a video of the self-timer working. I haven't shot any film with it, but I think it's in good condition. The solid weight and the emotional atmosphere of the Showa era are very charming. I would be happy to pass it on to someone who will cherish it, or someone who is looking for parts or disassembly. Thank you for your consideration. A camera specialty site was selling a complete set for 23,760 yen (including tax), so I am listing it at this price. If you are interested, please feel free to negotiate the price.
