New still in wrapping. 3D building pieces: The game replaces traditional houses and hotels with 80 three-dimensional buildings that players can place on their properties.
Hazard and bonus buildings: Players can place "hazard" buildings, like a sewage plant, on opponents' districts to decrease their rent, or "bonus" buildings, like a water tower, to protect their own properties from hazards.
Electronic trading unit: An electronic device is used for certain game functions, such as announcing the number of blocks players can build on, timing auctions for unowned properties, and handling some of the Chance card instructions.
New Chance cards: The game features new Chance cards with different effects, such as "Taxi," which allows a player to move their mover two spaces, and "Rent Dodge.
Modified gameplay: Unlike the original, players can build on any district they own at any time, not just after getting a monopoly. Rent doesn't automatically doubl
