This listing is for 4 butterfly mosaic tiles or ceramic pieces for another type of craft project. Pieces are 3" x 1-1/2". Each gorgeous piece has been hand cast, glazed, painted and fired by me. I used a special paint technique on this batch which gives a black crackled finish with colorful overtones. No two pieces are identical.
The backs were left unglazed bisque intended to be used with tile-set. These could go into a mosaic tile project, or can be incorporated into a backsplash design. A person could add magnets to the back and make a some refrigerator magnets as gifts for teachers or friends. Of course there are many applications for these ceramic pieces and many objects they could be attached to.
These could also be glued onto a jewelry box, candlesticks, or a decorative piece in the home. I would use E-6000 which can be purchased at Home Depot or Michaels.
