"Pokémon FireRed" on the Game Boy Advance is a remake of the original "Pokémon Red" game, set in the Kanto region, where players capture and train Pokémon to battle against other trainers, gym leaders, and ultimately the Elite Four and Champion; it features updated graphics, gameplay mechanics from later Pokémon games, and the ability to access the Sevii Islands after completing the main storyline, allowing players to catch additional Pokémon not found in the original Kanto region.
