Vintage Scherenschnitte Williamsburg Pineapple Framed Folk Art
A vintage original scissor-cut "scherenschnitte" folk art piece. Titled on back "Williamsburg Pineapple 1987". Hand-cut from off-white paper and laid on pink floral fabric background, this piece depicts a pineapple and leaves. Set in an oak wooden frame with a glass pane.
Measures approx. 15" W x 12" H
Vintage pre-owned, The fabric color was originally maroon but has faded over the years to a country pink color.
Paper behind glass shows some yellowing due to age.
Artists name is blacked out on the back (was like this when obtained from an estate).
