Ideal for machines lacking a tailstock, its spring-loaded system negates the need for hydraulic compensation. Its low-profile head ensures excellent tool clearance. Royal Spring-Type Live Centers are certified to +/- 0.0005" TIR or better. They employ two precision needle roller bearings and a custom thrust bearing to manage loads. Multiple stacked springs ensure the live center point remains seated in the workpiece center hole. Available in standard and extended points, straight-shank models are suitable for lower turrets on multi-tasking machines.
