Vintage 10K Yellow Gold Emerald Cut Simulated Ruby Solitaire Ring 4.2g Size 5.75

Set in the center of this vintage ring is a large emerald cut simulated ruby. The stone measures 10 x 8mm and has a vibrant dark pink color. It is set with 3 prongs at both the top and bottom and 2 on each side. The stone is loose and does rattle in the setting but because of all of the prongs around it it is not in any danger of falling out. They would just need to be pressed down a little. A local jeweler should find that easy enough to do. The band has a simple high polished finish and would be easy to size up or down It is currently a finger size 5.75. This ring is solid yellow gold and is stamped 10K on the inside of the band. It is very well made and has lots of gold, 4.2 grams. A very sturdy setting! I have cleaned it in the ultrasound and cloth polished the band. A great addition to your vintage estate jewelry. July's birthstone!
