Vintage Ring with Turquoise, Ethnic, Indian, Middle Eastern

This ring was purchased overseas a long time ago.
It has a turquoise-like stone, but I'm not sure of the exact type.
It's quite ruggedly made, with a 70s hippie ring vibe, which I liked.
The large stone is over 1.5cm and makes a statement.
When I put it on a ring gauge, it stops at size 17, but the ring isn't perfectly circular, so it feels like it's around size 20.
It would also look cool as a pendant with a leather cord or chain.
The body is silver-colored, and there are no markings, so the material is unknown.
The inner diameter is about 2 cm across and 1.9 cm vertically.

Anything not mentioned in the description is basically unknown.
