This replica statue is in great condition and was on sale in the Disney parks in the late '90's - early 00's. Statue weighs 8 lbs. 1 oz. The marble base measures 5 in. x 10" and the highest point of the statue stands just over 14" tall. The cold Cast Bronze base measures just over 8.25" x 3". Walt Disney measures 13" tall from the cold cast Bronze base, and Mickey Mouse is just over 6.5" tall from the cold cast bronze base. Some of the wonderful details that elevate this version are: Blaine Gibson's (famed Disney Animator & Imagineer) signature is incised in the base. The STR initials on Walt's Tie representing one of his favorite vacation areas: Smoke Tree Ranch in Palm Springs. The great detail on Walt's hand including his right handed wedding ring (Walt's Left-handed Wedding Ring...yes he wore two...is concealed by Mickey's grip) Blaine's sculpt of Walt's smile is his interpretation of Walt's reaction watching happy people enjoy his park.
