Write Shop 1 & 2 Teacher's Manual

The WriteShop Teacher's Guide covers both WriteShop I & WriteShop II and includes lesson plans, student writing samples, keys, appendixes, checklists, and more. Lesson plan tracks are included, with writings on each schedule corresponding to subheadings in the lesson plan. Lessons include materials needed, the lesson focus, "before you begin" notes, pre-writing activities with checklist, practice paragraphs, brainstorming, sloppy copy notes, first revision notes, final draft notes, and grading notes. Other sections provide instructions on editing and evaluating, common errors for each lesson, mechanical problems, supplemental activities, evaluation checklists, and more.

While the student book is written directly to the student, the teacher's guide is still needed to teach the course, as the teacher's guide contains the teacher-specific instructions, keys, and evaluation notes.
